The End of the World as We Know It

Another day, another week, another month, another year.

Oh wait, it’s also supposed to be the apocalypse tomorrow. And yet, in other parts of the world, they’re still there. And another cycle begins.

As for me, this whole year has been uneventful, for the most part. But not for the latter part of the year. I got to travel this year and travel I did! It was nice to visit family and friends back home especially after five years. I gotta say, my small hometown isn’t small anymore; I got to be on Christian Grey’s turf for my birthday and it was lucky that the four days that I was in Seattle, the sun was out and about. And yes, I had a picture in front of Escala! Then Disneyland for the summer with the whole fam and of course, there’s my annual Vegas trip with my girls.

Speaking of which, things actually got interesting a few days before I went to Vegas. It’s funny how it’s true that when you’ve finally given up on looking and searching for something, that’s when it resurfaces. Long story short, I got a very interesting email from a past — er, somebody — and it totally caught me off guard. I mean, it’s been three years and then this? Total mind f^^k! I think that it was a blessing in disguise that we didn’t end up seeing each other again in Vegas because who would’ve known what would’ve happened? But you know what, I’m way past the shoulda, coulda, wouldas.

Like I said, I was glad. Then I wouldn’t have met JD 🙂

I know, life is funny that way.

The Universe has finally delivered. That or it has finally caved in to my relentless pestering haha!

So end of the world huh? Actually, mine is just beginning.

xoxo
